Expectations were high, Saturday last, as the first major Chaîne des Rôtisseurs event of 2024 unfurled at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel. Perfectly themed, the Roaring Twenties dress code added oomph to the affair as ladies stepped into the Legacy Suite in flapper dresses, opera gloves, multiple layers of pearls, and yes, even the requisite cigarette holders.
