Q: What strategies do you employ to #InspireInclusion within your own sphere of influence?
A: I prioritise open communication and active listening, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard and respected. Additionally, I actively seek out opportunities to collaborate with diverse partners, influencers and organisations. By forging meaningful partnerships with individuals and groups from various backgrounds, we can amplify diverse voices and broaden our reach within different communities.
Q: How are you investing in yourself, and in other women/girls, to accelerate progress and empowerment?
A: I strongly believe that women’s empowerment is rooted in not just breaking the glass ceiling and having women’s presence in spaces we traditionally have not been, but also taking the responsibility to hold the door open for other women to have equal and bigger opportunities. To this end, I prioritise and encourage continuous learning and growth and actively seek out mentorship opportunities, both as a mentee and a mentor, to share knowledge and support one another’s development. also seek out opportunities to support initiatives that focus on empowering women and girls through education, leadership development, and access to resources and opportunities. By investing in ourselves and lifting each other up, we can collectively drive positive change and create a more equitable and inclusive society.
