Gas prices up $4.50, diesel down $0.75
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, March 7, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 90-octane will be sold for $175.78 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $169.67 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $175.90 per litre after a decrease of $0.75 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $181.90 per litre down by $1.20.
Kerosene decreased by $3.06 and will be sold for $176.68 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $72.51 per litre down by $2.93 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $81.87 per litre after a decrease of $3.06.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
