Ras Kronik still buzzing with The Energy
Las Vegas-based reggae artiste Ras Kronik is in an upbeat mood as his single, titled
The Energy, continues to grow in popularity.
The song, which is the title track for his album which was released in August last year, is currently receiving mainstream airplay in the US on KCEP POWER 88.1 FM, which is based in Las Vegas.
“I am elated about what’s happening with this single; right now it’s getting regular rotation on one of the biggest radio stations in Las Vegas. It’s also playing on several radio stations in other parts of the US and in territories outside of the states such as Jamaica, Europe, Africa and England,” he said.
The Clarendon-born singer was invited by the management of the radio station to perform at their New Year’s Eve party which was held at the Art Houz Theaters in Las Vegas.
“I delivered a very strong performance at KCEP’s New Year’s Eve party which was warmly received by everyone in attendance. All my songs received a good response, especially The Energy; when I dropped that song the whole place went wild,” Ras Kronik.
The artiste is currently busy in the studio working on new projects.
“I’m currently working on several new projects that I intend to release throughout the course of the year. I haven’t set any release dates yet because we’re still promoting my album and The Energy single, but I will be dropping some new music later in the year for sure.”
He also revealed that he is booked to perform at several upcoming events in Las Vegas and other parts of the US.
