Dixon scores on debut as Reggae Boyz beat Trinidad in friendly
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Kaheim Dixon scored on his debut for the Reggae Boyz as Jamaica edged Trinidad and Tobago 1-0 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain, Trinidad on Friday, in the first of their two friendly internationals.
Dixon, who was one of five players making their debut for the team, netted in the 58th minute and became the first Jamaican to score on debut since Justin McMaster in 2022 vs Cameroon.
The other debutants were :Garth Stewart of Harbour View, Stephen Young of Portmore United, Jamone Shepherd of Arnett Gardens and Justin Dunn of Tivoli Gardens.
The starting team consisted of : Kemar Foster (gk) , Sue-Lae McCalla, Stewart, Ricardo Thomas, Jahshaune Anglin, Alex Marshall, Dixon, Shepherd, Young, Dunn and Fabian Reid.
