15-y-o among four arrested for setting fire to SDA church in St Ann
A 15-year-old boy is among four males arrested for allegedly setting fire to the Exchange Seventh Day Adventist Church in St Ann on Monday.
Head of the St Ann Police, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell, said the other males are two 19-year-olds and a 21-year-old.
According to the police chief, the males reportedly stole several items from the church and then set fire to sections of the building.
The fire brigade and police were alerted to the scene.
SSP Powell said after following cooling down operations, the suspects were accosted by lawmen.
Charges are to be laid pending further investigations.
