Treasure Beach upset Harbour View in Wray and Nephew JPL
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Treasure Beach FC snapped a 14-game winless streak after upsetting Harbour View 2-1 in their rescheduled Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League return round game played at the Anthony Spaulding complex on Wednesday.
The promoted team avenged their first round 2-0 loss and improved to 12 points after picking up five points from their last three games and edged closer to safety.
It was a big loss to Harbour View who would have been seeking to get closer to a play-off spot.
Former Montego Bay United player Vialley Matolola gave Treasure Beach FC the lead early when he scored in the second minute before Tedlar Parchment doubled the lead in the 79th minute.
Rohan Brown’s 82nd minute goal for Harbour View set up an interesting last eight minutes plus nine minutes of time added on.
