Gas prices down $1.20, diesel down $3.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, February 29, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $1.20, 90-octane will be sold for $171.28 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $165.17 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $176.65 per litre after a decrease of $3.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $183.10 per litre down by $3.06.
Kerosene decreased by $4.50 and will be sold for $179.74 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.44 per litre down by $2.50 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $84.93 per litre after a decrease of $3.00.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
