KINGSTON, Jamaica — A number of traffic changes are expected to be implemented in and around the corporate area ahead of today’s staging of the Gibson Relays at the National Stadium.

The changes are as follow:

1.       Vehicles travelling along Arthur Wint Drive towards Mountain View Avenue will turn left at Roosevelt Avenue and then right at Stanton Terrace.

2. Residents travelling easterly along Arthur Wint Drive going to the Lofts Apartments will use the slip road at the ticket office

3. Residents travelling from Mountain View Avenue to the Lofts Apartments will be allowed to proceed.

4. The area between Gate E2 and E4 will be closed off for pedestrians only.

5. Persons going to the Bustamante Children’s Hospital and Stadium Gardens should proceed along North Avenue from Old Hope Road.

6. After the closing off of the road, one-way Traffic will be allowed from North Avenue towards the Stadium

After the event, Arthur Wint drive will be diverted into a one-way from Roosevelt Avenue to Redcam Avenue.

Persons are being urged to obey the changes to allow smooth-flow of traffic in the area.
