Campari Yard Mas and Xodus set to elevate customer experience
The promoters of Campari Yard Mas and Xodus Carnivals have promised to elevate their customer experience during the staging of the 2024 Carnival Season.
At the launch of both events, which was held on Tuesday night at the ROK Hotel in Downtown Kingston, the organisers shared their strategies to keep their masqueraders on a musical high.
“More! More is our goal. More trucks, more bars, more performers and more girls. You can look out for a lot of new and exciting things,” said Xodus Carnival chief executive officer Pierre Goubault in an interview with Observer Online.
He added, “On the road, we are introducing Xodus Experience Zone, which is at our lunch spot – which is breakfast, lunch and a cool down. And we’re putting a few minor adjustments to our envy experience to make it a little more premium.”
Andrew Bellamy of Yard Mas said the event in its second year will continue to roll out the red carpet for its revellers.
“We came out with a big bang last year and we had an amazing time on the road. The energy was high, so we built on the partnership with Campari. We’re providing a very amazing experience for 2024 for all of our masqueraders. We’re ensuring that we deliver a seamless process with costume distribution and quality costumes. Clearly we’re going to be doing a lot on the road. We’re going to be wowing people in all aspects,” Bellamy disclosed.
Both Goubault and Bellamy gave props to their title sponsor Campari.
“Campari is a very critical part of the success that happened last year,” said Bellamy.
For his part, Goubault said “Campari is about women, carnival and good feeling. They’ve always been a great brand for us to partner with.”
Campari’s Brand Communications Manager Dominic Bell explained how his company plans to elevate the carnival experience.
“We’re now in the second year of our partnership with Xodus and Yard Mas, and what this partnership allows is for us to elevate the consumer experience when it comes to carnival in Jamaica. This consumer experience speaks to the mixability of our brand Campari and then that of consumer engagement and wow factors throughout the season. For all lead-up events from now until Road March Day, you can look out for the ultimate carnival experience between all three parties (Yard Mas, Xodus and Campari),” said Bell.
