JFF, PFJL sign MOU to extend oversight of Jamaica Premier League
KINGSTON, Jamaica— The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and the Professional Football Jamaica Limited (PFJL) have signed a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) to extend the PFJL’s oversight of the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League for the next 10 years.
The signing ceremony took place at the JFF Headquarters in New Kingston on Wednesday morning.
The PFJL, an independent body, assumed control of the league in the 2020/21 season following the disbandment of the Premier League Clubs Association.
Originally set to conclude after the 2023/24 season, their tenure has been extended until 2034.
JFF President Michael Ricketts and PFJL Chairman Chris Williams expressed optimism that the new MOU will contribute to the continued growth of football in Jamaica.
