Disgruntled over lack of water, Brown’s Town residents block roads
ST ANN, Jamaica – Police and firefighters are attempting to clear roads surrounding Brown’s Town in St Ann that were blocked by angry residents protesting lack of water.
Observer online understands that residents used lit tires to block the roads from Brown’s Town into Bamboo, Runaway Bay and Discovery Bay.
It’s understood that the community has been without water for weeks.
The protest began at around 3:30 am.
