Bowl & Spoon: No Forks Given
“I love eating from a bowl with a spoon,” shared marketer extraordinaire PJ Wright, who, along with business partner Carlton Hume, has launched Bowl & Spoon yet another culinary innovation. Here’s what the two shared with Thursday Food during a recent visit. ”Say goodbye to forks and hello to a new era of convenient, nutritious meals on the go!”
Their ambitious plan is to revolutionise the fast food industry by offering “a wholesome alternative that doesn’t sacrifice taste or quality… like soups, chopped salads, smoothies, air-fried bites and natural juices”.
Located at Shop 22 at iconic Devon House, Bowl & Spoon is the go-to spot for satisfying meals that won’t weigh you down. The menu is, Wright shared, carefully crafted to cater to busy individuals seeking a quick and nourishing option at an affordable price point. There’s more from the enterprising duo who inform that they’re just getting started! With plans for aggressive expansion, Bowl & Spoon is poised to make its mark across Jamaica. “Our business model,” adds Wright, “is designed to thrive in small spaces, making it easy for us to bring our convenient locations closer to bustling business communities… we extend an invitation to join us on our journey to redefine fast food one delicious bowl at a time.”
When asked what factors influenced menu options Thursday Food was told that research informed them of customers’ needs vis-à-vis what could be prepared in a small kiosk space. This current menu was given the nod as the offerings can be eaten daily without feeling guilty, as customer retention is key, after all.
Our guess is that they’re on to a good thing and, based on customer feedback, we’re certainly not the only ones.
