WATCH: Holness makes campaign stops in Westmoreland
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica— His eyes set on gaining control of the Westmoreland Municipal Corporation, Prime Minister Andrew Holness is touring the parish ahead of the highly-anticipated local government election.
Holness commenced his tour Friday morning in Whitehouse, Westmoreland where he met and spoke with residents and supporters alike.
Following the talk, Holness went on to greet fisherfolks at the Whitehouse fishing beach, who voiced their complaints and improvements they hope to see in the near future.
His tour will culminate in the tourist hotspot of Negril, which was rocked by a cold front that is affecting the island and left the West End road in a dilapidated state after it collapsed.
