UPDATE: VertiCast preparing to address BCJ after customer complaints
VertiCast Media Group Limited says it is in communication with the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica (BCJ) following customer complaints of intermittent issues with viewing the English Premier League via CSport cable channels and website over some months.
VertiCast, parent company for CSport distribution channels and the exclusive rights holders for the English Premier League in the Caribbean, said in a statement on Friday that it is “in the process of addressing a number of communications from the BCJ.”

“VertiCast Media Group Ltd. (“VertiCast”), the parent company of CVM Television and distributor of the CSport channels, maintains an open and continuous channel of communication with regulatory bodies such as the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica (BCJ), engaging in regular dialogue to address various aspects of our licensed operations, including content, distribution and instances of broadcast rights infringement by other entities. We are currently in the process of addressing a number of communications from the BCJ.
“As a content provider, CSport maintains constant and open communication with our subscribers and will continue to keep them informed of any developments or initiatives undertaken to enhance their viewing experience,” VertiCast said,
The BCJ confirmed that it has launched an investigation following the public complaints of not being able to view the Premier League matches on CSport due to intermittent disruptions in recent times.
The most recent incident of viewers being unable to watch the Premier League occurred last weekend, when the matches included the blockbuster Arsenal vs Liverpool game. Subscribers report that despite the issues, they are still being charged for the service.
