Christopher Martin, Busy Signal headline Usain Bolt’s lovers’ rock reggae album
International recording reggae/dancehall artistes Christopher Martin and Busy Signal headline Escape Riddim presented by sprint legend and executive music producer Usain Bolt.
This project, release on February 2, is the sixth album compilation released by the retired Olympian.
Produced on the sprinter’s A-Team Lifestyle label, by himself and long-time friend and manager Nugent Walker, the soulful Escape Riddim production features 10 tracks, including the instrumental.
According to the A-Team Lifestyle label boss, he and his team decided to put together a reggae soul music production as it is music that influenced them while growing up.
“Growing up we enjoyed all the subsets of dancehall music. As we continue to dive into the production of music we will produce music that influenced us. Lovers’ rock, dancehall always give that smooth rhythmic soul feeling which is the tone of the Escape Riddim”, says Bolt.
“Every artiste expressed themselves in a unique way, thus allowing this project to cover all the many emotions of this reggae lovers’ rock beat”, he continued.
To further entertain the public, A-Team Lifestyle released two official music videos on VEVO featuring songs from the album.
The album also features Jamaican reggae star D-Major, who performs the soulful track
Naughty.
It also showcases up-and-coming talents, among them Lia Caribe, Kyann and Jahzeal.
Escape Riddim is distributed by audio and video distribution company Marvment, with all songs being available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, and a host of other streaming platforms.
