3 people killed, 9 injured in hangar collapse at Idaho airport
BOISE, Idaho — A hangar under construction on the grounds of the airport in Boise, Idaho, collapsed on Wednesday killing three people and injuring nine others.
According to a report from The Associated Press, five of those injured are in critical condition.
Authorities reportedly responded to the privately owned hangar at approximately 5:00 pm.
Boise Airport operations were not impacted, officials said.
AP News said some of the victims were on a hoist or other elevated platform at the time the structure fell. It was also confirmed that a crane also collapsed in the incident.
Authorities are investigating what caused the collapse.
