Ammo found buried in St James

ST JAMES, Jamaica – Police assigned to the Specialised Operations Branch seized 72 rounds of assorted ammunition during a targeted operation on Huggins Lane in Green Pond, St James on Friday, January 26.

Reports from the Montego Bay Police are that about 4:30 pm, an unfinished house was searched, and 60 5.56mm, six 7.62mm and six 9mm cartridges were found buried underground inside the building.

No arrest was made in connection with the find.

The investigation continues.
