Woman accused of stabbing man during argument charged
ST ANN, Jamaica— A woman has been charged after she allegedly used a kitchen knife to stab a man multiple times during an argument in Brown’s Town, St Ann on Tuesday, January 23.
Charged with wounding with intent is 31-year-old Julene Christie, a higgler of Wire Fence in Trelawny.
Reports are that about 7:00 pm, a man and Christie were having an argument when Christie used a kitchen knife and stabbed the man several times to his forehead, left shoulder and right hand. The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated and later released.
A report was made to the police and on Wednesday, January 24 Christie was charged. A court date is being finalised.
