Drift gets a new lease on life
After tumbling down the charts last week, Drift by Teejay has received a new lease on life. This as the song has rebounded on the Billboard R&B airplay charts.
On R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay,
Drift steps up from #43 to #37 rising to a new peak. The song has been on the chart for 12 weeks.
Over on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop,
Drift bullets from #33 to #31 in its 11th week, while rising from #36 to #33 on Rhythmic Top 40 Airplay.
Now on the streaming and sales-driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Dexta Daps failed to début with his
Trilogy, his latest album which was released on January 12.
Bob Marley and the Wailers claim their 210th non-consecutive week at #1 with
Legend, while Sean Paul improves from #3 to #2 with
Dutty Classics Collection.
Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy slides down from #2 to #3, while
Greatest Hits by UB40 inches up from #5 to #4.
Stick Figure has a lock on the next three positions, with
World on Fire, Set in Stone, and
Wisdom at #5, #6 and #7 respectively.
No Love by Byron Messia climbs from #10 to #8, while Masicka’s
Generation of Kings remains at #9.
Re-entering the chart at #10 is
Gold by Bob Marley and the Wailers.
The remix of
Drift by Teejay and Davido inches down one spot from #67 to #68 on the Nigeria Hot 100 chart.
After debuting at #3 last week,
Praise Jah in the Moonlight by YG Marley moves into the #2 spot on the New Zealand Top 40 Singles chart.

Statue of a Fool by Richie Stephens takes over the #1 spot on the South Florida Reggae chart. Meanwhile,
