Well done, RAL!

Dear Editor,

I want to congratulate Restaurant Associates Limited (RAL) for hosting a fun day for all its staff on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

I know that many corporate companies have fun days for their staff, but I note that RAL closed all its franchises — Burger King, Popeyes, Little Caesars, and Krispy Kreme — so that all team members could participate together.

Apart from the tremendous expense of busing staff from all over the island to Puerto Seco Beach in Discovery Bay, RAL would have forgone substantial revenue by closing all its outlets. This is a big move and a tremendous example of corporate citizenry extended to staff.
