Gas prices up $0.25, diesel up $3.05
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 18, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25 90-octane will be sold for $171.99 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $165.89.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $172.43 per litre after an increase of $3.05 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $179.48 per litre up by $3.04.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $181.37 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.52 per litre up by $2.50 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $82.45 per litre after an increase of $1.95.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
