Lee Major X and DJ Whitey tracks doing well
Recording artistes Lee Major X and Whitey have teamed up on a new track that they believe is relatable, titled Badmind Neighbour.
It was officially released on September 20.
“This song highlights those moments when you’re trying to uplift yourself working hard to achieve your goals and your neighbours start giving you a fight,” Lee Major X told the Jamaica Observer.
Creating this project was a seamless collaboration between the two artistes, who have already paired up on two previously released tracks.
“We just have a great chemistry and a family relationship. We have two songs together called Don’t Laugh and Ricky Bounce,” Lee Major X added.
Both artistes guarantee a great listening experience for music lovers and there has been positive feedback coming in since the release of the song.
“The song is very vibrant. You don’t have to argue with your neighbours. I hope everyone who listens to the song can just hold a vibe and enjoy it,” DJ Whitey told the Observer.
Based between New York and St Thomas, Lee Major X has been steadily building his music catalog, with previous releases including Run Outta Gas, Pastor Daughter, and Save Jamaica. He also has three other tracks in the pipeline — Probox, Tears, and Rude Boys Fall In Luv.
“My music is usually very conscious and also can be very humorous. My supporters can look out for some more pure, clean music,” Lee Major X added.
DJ Whitey is also a St Thomas native who achieved popularity on social media for showcasing her versatile deejaying skills in her school uniform and received widespread love and encouragement.
“I honestly was just doing it for the love of it all, but I am very happy that I was able to get so much love for expressing myself,” she said
