Troyton teams up with top acts for new rhythm
Well-known music producer Troyton has recruited some of dancehall’s most popular artiste for his latest project — the Stray Dog rhythm.
Featuring 11 tracks, the project was officially released on November 24.
“My hope with this project is to bring this authentic sound that people truly love and want from Jamaica,” the producer told the Jamaica Observer.
Described as an authentic dancehall production, the project features Busy Signal, D Major, IWaata, Charly Black, Neelah, I-Octane, Bugle, Tanya Stephens, Pablo YG, Dreama, DiCelebrityy, Bobby K, and Vocab.
Completed in approximately three months, the result has been an exceptional project that has been well received since its release. The rhythm reached #36 on the Japan Reggae chart, while Gwaan Bad, featuring Charly Black and Neelah, reached #30 on the UK Reggae chart.
As a producer, Troyton has released several works, among them Pleasure Tyme rhythm, which was released in 2022 and gained international success.
In addition, he has graced the airwaves with several others such as True Emotions, Dancehall Symphony, Compassion, and Dark Temptation.
More recently, he contributed to Masicka’s sophomore album, Generation Of Kings.
In the pipeline is more music, with projects lined up with various talents such as his artiste Dreama.
