No further leaks
Dear Claudienne,
I am trying to renovate my house. I was going to use zinc on the roof but after I received advice from the mason, I decided to cast it instead. Due to situations beyond my control I decided to use premix concrete.
On July 21, 2023 I obtained the service of Coast-to-Coast Concrete Company to cast the roof for a fee of $448,400. Although I followed all the company’s instructions pertaining to the curing of the roof, when it rained I realised that water was dripping from the roof into the room at a rapid rate. I called the company and talked to a clerk who promised to call me back. When no one contacted me, I called again and was told that the manager would call me. However, days passed and no one returned my call.
I called again and the clerk told me that she would send the inspector to come and assess the situation but he did not do so. I eventually phoned the inspector myself and when he came and did an inspection he told me that water was settling on the roof and leaking into the room through some little cracks. He promised to return with tin set and fix the problem.
Meanwhile, my phone shut down and I lost the inspector’s number. When I called the office and asked them to contact the inspector the clerk again gave me the runaround. On September 16, 2023 I was eventually able to speak to the manager. She promised to have the problem fixed in one week. However, after two weeks I called again on October 2, 2023 and again got the runaround.
I am now urgently requesting your help with this situation.

Dear VC,
Tell Claudienne contacted the owners of Coast-to-Coast Concrete Company and notes that they sent the inspector and a crew to fix your roof problem.
You have advised the column that “they did a good job”.
“There has been heavy rainfall and there have been no further leaks,” you said.
We wish you all the best.
