Business social
THIS week we feature two recent events in Business Social. One involves an event hosted by The University of the West Indies, Mona campus Faculty of Engineering that delved into the ever-evolving world of artificial intelligence (AI). Spearheaded by Ryan Simons, founder and CEO of DenArthur Analytics, and Anand Mahurkar, founder and CEO of Findability Sciences, the session captivated students with a comprehensive exploration of AI — construction of AI systems and platforms, its potential for benefiting Caribbean enterprises, and practical applications.
The other is the fireside chat that took centre stage at the Tech Beach Retreat (TBR), held at Iberostar Hotel, with Xesus Johnston, CEO of Supreme Ventures Gaming. Engaging in a thought-provoking discussion under the theme ‘Open Finance: Scaling Fin-Tech Solutions to Mainstream Impact’, Johnston showcased his visionary leadership in the gaming industry. Business Social has the highlights.
