One dead, soldier injured in Mountain View shooting

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A man was killed during a joint police-military operation off Mountain View Avenue in the vicinity of Excelsior High School in St Andrew on Monday morning.

Observer Online understands that one member of the Jamaica Defence Force was injured in the incident and a firearm recovered during the operation.

The area is now cordoned off as police continue the operation.
