An amicable resolution
Dear Claudienne,
I am reaching out to you for your assistance with this Flow account problem. I have owned a Flow phone with the above number for a number of years, and have been purchasing credit for the same. I have retired and have relocated. I signed up for a Flow package Yard & Road (Internet & mobile plan) on 28th March, 2022 with a security deposit of $2,000.
The following day a Flow technician visited my home and advised that the Flow box was not close enough for me to get service. He did not say when I would get it, and so I waited without any communication from them. I investigated and discovered that there were two boxes on the street behind me which were closer and advised them, but they still did not give me the service.
However, a month down the road, I received an invoice by email showing a balance of $3,820.56. On investigating (after numerous calls), I was told that the service was on the phone. I told them I did not know of this as I had subsequently applied and received Internet service from Digicel. I have also had postpaid phone service from Digicel for many years.
I advised them that I had signed an agreement for a Yard & Road package and not a Road package only and that the agreement was broken without my knowledge. I told them that I was therefore not liable for that charge. And further more I had not used their service.
Because I have refused to pay this amount they have blocked me from using their service on the phone as a result of which I lost my $1,000.00 prepaid credit.
They have also indicated that they are going to continue to bill me until I pay the bill. They are holding me down and taking my little pension from me; that is not fair. It’s a shame I retired with a perfect credit rating and Flow has messed that up.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
