Xodus Remedy to give glimpse into 2024 Carnival season with mini road march
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Xodus Carnival will give a glimpse into what revellers can expect come next Carnival season as they host the Campari Xodus Remedy Glow Edition: Mini Road March on Saturday, November 25 at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Organisers of Xodus Carnival stated in a release on Wednesday that the event, which is a precursor to the 2024 Carnival season, will have soca lovers in a trance as DJs Laing D, DJ Rico, ZJ Zess and Coppershot Music will be blasting all the soca faves.
It is the first Carnival lead up event for Xodus, and as such, the organisers said they will leave no stones unturned in ensuring patrons have a grand time while revelling under neon lights.
“Campari Xodus Remedy is more than just a party, it is an experience that is never to be missed. I’m happy that our mini road march execution this year will build on the stellar showing we had last year. We want everyone to have a taste of what it’s like to be on the road with Xodus, so we’re pulling out all the stops,” said Pierre Goubault, CEO of Xodus Carnival.
Campari Xodus Remedy is a ‘Mas Couture’ themed event, inspired by the Rave costume. Remedy will be a drink inclusive event where patrons are advised to come decked out in their rave-inspired Monday-wear ensembles. Ticket outlets for the event are Candy Craze, Morgans Creek, Tai Tai, Fesco (Braeton), Kaya and Zip FM. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.caribtix.com/xodusremedy, for a cost of $6,000 pre-sold and $7,000 at the gate. However, Xodus family revellers are provided with a special price of $5,000 per ticket.
“All the fetes that we have on our calendar leading up to carnival day are what makes the Xodus experience so unique. Since our band launch, we have had an extremely positive response from masqueraders, we have already sold out of one of our backpack options- X-large Victorian backpack – and we have costumes looking to be sold out in short order. This is a definite testament to how we show up and cater for our masqueraders,” Goubault added.
Additionally, there are group rates available for purchase. Groups of four can purchase tickets online or at the Xodus Showroom for only $18,000. The event’s proceedings will commence at 8 pm consisting of a party segment, and will transition into the road march segment at 11 pm. This will continue into the early morning, ending at 2 pm.
