KC beat Dinthill to book spot in Champions Cup semis
Kingston College (KC) secured a semifinal spot in the ISSA Champions Cup with a 3-2 win over Dinthill Technical at the National Stadium on Tuesday.
The North Street-based boys found themselves behind in the first minute of the game as Tyrese Gowe put Dinthill ahead.
However, KC fought back and won a penalty which captain Robert Seow converted in the 31st minute.
They ended the first half on a bright note as Jaheim McLean netted in the 44th minute and Seow scored another penalty in the third minute of stoppage time.
Giovanni Afflick made it 3-2 to keep Dinthill’s hopes alive but KC held on for the win.
In other games, Glenmuir booked their spot in the last four with a 1-0 win over Mona while Hydel also secured passage with a 4-2 win over Garvey Maceo.
Clarendon College and St George’s College are currently playing at the National Stadium for the last spot in the semis.
