TODSS’ Spot The Good Driva Award reaches Half-Way Tree
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services (TODSS), as part of its 70-day Road Safety Awareness campaign – October 27 to December 31, 2023 – will on Monday November 6, 2023 conduct “Spot The Good Driva” in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, between 12: 00 pm and 1:00 pm.
This campaign will see any motorist, the “driva” receiving what TODSS describes as a “special award” from the organisation.
According to TODDS, the objective of the “Spot The Good Driver Award” is to increase the awareness of members of the public transport sector and by extension the motoring community and the public, on the importance of good driving practices hence reducing fatal crashes on the nation’s roads.
The event is held under the theme: Under 400 in 2023 – Promoting Partnership for Peace on our Roads.
Some 40 awards will be presented over 60 days to outstanding drivers across the island.
