Gin ‘n’ Juice promoter happy with event’s continued success
It was strictly good times and music at the 90s house party Gin ‘n’ Juice which was held early last month at the Ruins at UWI’s Mona campus in St Andrew.
“We were absolutely pleased with the turnout, as with every staging it becomes more apparent that we’re getting bigger and better. The patrons came out in overwhelming numbers and their energy didn’t wane, even when we had to call it a night. The DJs held up their task of keeping them fuelled with high-energy music and vibes all night,” promoter Gregg Smith told the Jamaica Observer.
He further explained his highlight of the night.
“Besides the aforementioned musical juggling that has our guests singing and dancing, the fact that we had two massive bars that allowed for easy access to their favourite beverages was definitely a standout feature that received high marks from the attendees. The bar was kept busy by our patrons,” Smith added.
Smith explained what differentiates Gin ‘n’ Juice from other old-school events.
“We’re unique because of the patrons we attract, the amazing brand ambassadors we work with, the top tier venues we use, the unconventional DJ line-ups that we employ, and the measures that we take to ensure that our guests have the best experience ever, in a safe, secure and spacious environment, every time that they party with us,” he said.
The DJs served up a delicious brew of some of the greatest old-school hits that had patrons dancing up a storm. DJs Sanjay, Narity and Zachary Harding never disappointed in taking attendees down a nostalgic lane with the tunes that were spun up until the very last minute of the event.
Smith said he is hoping to replicate the party’s success for its next staging.
“The next staging will be December 23 and will be our ‘ladies night’ edition. Patrons should come out because with us they know exactly what they are getting — a great party, with great music, and a fabulous venue to have the time of their lives with friends they haven’t seen in ages,” Smith added.
