Gas prices up $0.25, diesel down $0.90
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel effective Thursday, October 26, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 90-octane will be sold for $189.09 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $183.02.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $188.87 per litre after a decrease of $0.90 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $196.49 per litre down by $1.67.
Kerosene decreased by $0.25 and will be sold for $194.77 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $68.21 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $76.19 per litre after an increase of $0.79.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
