Port Antonio blue marlin tourney sails off today
PORT ANTONIO, Portland — The 60th Sir Henry Morgan Angling Association Port Antonio International Marlin Tournament will get going this morning at Ole Marina starting at 8:00.
Jamaica’s Governor General Sir Patrick Allen will address anglers and will officially send them off.
Sixteen boats are registered to compete including defending champion “Integrity“.
Max Rochester, tournament director, was upbeat ahead of the start.
“We expect a good tournament…and we look forward to good fishing with good weather,” he said.
The tournament will end Saturday followed by prize-giving ceremony.
