Back-to-school outreach programme
The Transport Authority through its corporate social responsibility programme seeks to be involved in the training and development of the children in the communities in which it operates.
This year the authority decided to distribute back-to-school items during its outreach programme in the regions. At the outreach, the children are taught about the different public passenger vehicles, how to identify legal public passenger vehicles, and the expected behaviour when they take these. Here, Nicole Vickers, inspector, displays a red plate licence to show students of Gregory Park Primary School the right plate to look for on route taxis.
