Is That A Fact seeks five straight wins in I’msatisfied Trophy
The talented American-bred Is That A Fact returns from a 21-day break to headline a quality field for the $1.4-million I’msatisfied Trophy feature, the main attraction on tomorrow’s 10-race programme.
The Open Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward will run over 6 furlongs (1,200m).
Below, the Jamaica Observer’s The Supreme Racing Guide takes a close look at the eight runners entered and their chances of winning.
1. LURE OF LUCY (USA): (5 b m by Uncle Lino – Ring of Faith) – Capable runner who always runs a fair race. Lure of Lucy came home in fifth position behind stablemate She’s My Destiny in the None Such Sprint over 6 furlongs on September 9. An improved run is expected from Lure of Lucy here.
2. IS THAT A FACT (USA): (3 bc by Palace Malice – Valid Code) – One of the most-improved horses in training at present, and on paper is the obvious choice here. Is That A Fact comes into this race on the back end of four-straight victories, and has done so impressively as well. Is That A Fact’s last win came in the Poorlittlerichgirl Trophy over 7 furlongs on September 16 in which he won by a short head over Blue Vinyl in a time of 1:25.2. Is That A Fact should enjoy this journey more and could put these away easily. Expect another win from Is That A Fact here.
3. GENERATIONAL: (6 ch g by Fearless Vision – Electrifying) – Has no realistic chance of winning this one.
4. PERFECT BREW: (4 b g by Bern Identity – Moonlight Brew) – Continues to do well at this level. Perfect Brew was third by 3 lengths behind Is That A Fact in the Poorlittlerichgirl on September 16. Perfect Brew is expected to run another good race here.
5. I‘VE GOT MAGIC (USA): (5 b m by Fast Anna – Lil Miss Richie) – Returned to winning ways on September 23 in a 6-furlong event. Then I’ve Got Magic won by 7 ¼ lengths in a smooth time of 1:12.0. I’ve Got Magic steps up in class to compete here and is going to find repeating a very tall order.
6. GOD OF LOVE: (7 b g by Adore The Gold – Shanda D) – Despite his capabilities, God of Love is going to be left behind here.
7. ROJORN DI PILOT: (7 b h by Liquidity – I’m Magic) – A winner over the straight on September 2. Rojorn di Pilot also goes well riding the bend and could be competitive here.
8. JORDON REIGN’S (USA): (5 b g by Mosler – Dearie Be Good) – Was expected to figure in the Poorlittlerichgirl Trophy on September 16 but finished fourth behind Is That A Fact. That was Jordon Reign’s second coming off an eight-month break and should be cherry ripe for this event. Jordon Reign’s has raced twice over this distance and has won on both occasions. Expect a competitive showing from Jordon Reign’s here.
