Audrey Tugwell Henry elected president of Jamaica Bankers Association
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Audrey Tugwell Henry has been elected as the new president of the Jamaica Bankers Association (JBA).
Tugwell Henry’s appointment follows the resignation of former National Commercial Bank Chief Execitive Officer (CEO) Septimus “Bob” Blake last month.
She had previously served in the role of vice president of the JBA and currently serves as president and CEO of Scotia Group Jamaica Limited and senior vice president of Scotiabank’s Caribbean North and Central region.
“The Jamaica Bankers Association and its members play an important role in the continued development of the Jamaican economy,” Tugwell Henry said.
“We are committed to being a catalyst for change and growth. We will continue to demonstrate high standards of governance and accountability in our operations,” she added.
Radcliffe Daley, who currently serves as president and CEO of First Global Bank Limited, was elected as vice president of the JBA.
