Rosy Cheeks w/ Romero Jennings for M·A·C
Okay, so pink blush isn’t exactly groundbreaking. Until, that is, veteran make-up artist Romero Jennings applies his brushes!
And the Rock-born M·A·C alum certainly put pink in the spotlight at London Fashion Week (LFW), sweeping M·A·C’s Extra Dimension Blush in Rosy Cheeks in the obvious and not so obvious places of models on the Kim Shui and Prabal Gurung Spring 2024 runway.
In an interview with Essence, Jennings said, “Beauty is about expression… It’s over-the-top. I love combining my Jamaican heritage with the designer’s vision. Jamaica is very colourful and playful. And I love making it feel personal.”
And how exactly do you put a forever fave like pink blush in the spotlight? Apply it with bold strokes, and way past the apples of your cheeks. For the looks, Jennings blended Rosy Cheeks — a midtone muted blue fuchsia — along the cheekbones and around the eyes in a C-shape for dramatic effect.
In a world of “no make-up” make-up looks, bright pink cheeks are a sure-fire way to standout, and looks good both in person and in photographs.

Personal beauty philosophy: I believe in letting the face tell you what it needs.
It’s sort of like buying a house. It’s better to move in and discover what works best for the space.
