Paris Fashion Week, which kicked off on September 26 and will run until October 3, saw the world’s biggest luxury brands — Dior, Saint Laurent, Chanel and Louis Vuitton — showing their latest collections to editors, fashionistas, buyers and, of course major celebs. Here are a few familiar faces.

Global fashion and media brand Highsnobiety spotlights Jamaican-born designer Edvin Thompson and his ravishing brand Theophilio. The article was published by FRONTPAGE, the brand’s weekly online feature exploring the people, moments, and ideas shaping culture today.
“Sexy, sophisticated, inclusive, culturally impactful, and Jamaican” is how Thompson describes Theophilio to FRONTPAGE’s Morgan Smith. “Being brought up in Jamaica, I was always inclined to draw and paint what was around me. I take in so many inspirations from my community,” Thompson says. “The basis of a collection usually starts with me reimagining how Jamaica would look somewhere like New York — it’s just a peek into that different perspective.”
