On Wednesday evening, the Artwalk at Water Lane in downtown Kingston came alive as Jamaica Food and Drink Festival (JFDF) hosted a lime for the launch of this year’s series of gastronomic events.
Scheduled to run from Thursday, November 2, to Sunday, November 5, the events promise a foodie extravaganza like never before.
This year introduces an exciting line-up of pre-festival events beginning on October 4, featuring exclusive wine-paired dinners, immersive spirit-themed cocktail affairs known as Festival Nites @ The Kitchen, the “Worthy” Experience rum tour and alfresco dining, and a Chef’s Table hosted by the renowned Michelin-awarded chef Ceasar Zapata of Phuc Yea Miami.
“We’re turning up the flavour and fun for our ninth anniversary in some new ways to showcase how diverse our food culture is!” said a delighted Alicia Bogues, JFDF director. “We are committed to providing something for everybody at our events. From the varied range and themes, flavours and price points, there is something to suit all interests. This is a celebration you won’t want to miss.”
