SAGOD says Militant
Recording artiste SAGOD has shown his versatility on his most recent project, Militant.
Containing five tracks, the project was produced by Motion and officially released on July 28.
“The idea for this mixtape was to tap back in with my original sound and being creative is what drove me in releasing it. The sound is very catchy and has melodic hooks which bring out a vibe like no other. It also showcases multiple genres such as dancehall, Afrobeats, and ampiano,” the artiste told the Jamaica Observer.
With titles including Kick Out, Rotten, Island Gyal, My Life, and Militant, the project has already earned the entertainer positive feedback.
He continues to maintain high hopes for what he can achieve.
“I hope that this album/mixtape is able to pick up traction and that people could be jamming to some new good music. I hope that it is able to be played around the globe,” he said.
While he has been on his musical journey for over seven years, SAGOD officially embarked on his professional path three years ago.
Originally from Westmoreland, Jamaica, the New York-based artiste aims to make music with varying sounds to be enjoyed by people from all walks of life.
“My style of music is very rhythmic. I have different but also amazing flow patterns. The smooth background vocals will take you on a trip,” he said.
With past releases such as Undecided, Situations, and Truth Has Been Spoken, the artiste has much more in store musically, with several music videos in the pipeline. In addition, he is currently preparing for several major performances in the United States.
