WATCH: Students, parents out early in St Andrew for back-to-school
ST ANDREW, Jamaica – There was a steady flow of traffic as early as 6:30 am in Half-Way-Tree, St Andrew as students and parents rushed to their destinations for the start of the new school year.
One man told the OBSERVER ONLINE at 6:45am that while the traffic was still somewhat flowing smoothly at that time, it is “expected that this will change because it is back-to-school now.”
A grade seven Immaculate Conception High School student revealed that so far she has had no trouble getting transportation as she makes her way to school.
Additionally, members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force are on the scene, ensuring that order is maintained.
