Gas prices, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, August 31, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 90-octane will be sold for $192.96 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $188.45 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $184.15 per litre after an increase of $4.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $192.06 per litre up by $4.50.
Kerosene increased by $3.46 and will be sold for $190.87 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $64.85 per litre up by $2.06 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $72.40 per litre after an increase of $1.68.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
