#WorldChamps2023: Sean bailey ruled out of 4x400m final with hamstring injury
BUDAPEST, Hungary – National champion Sean Bailey has been ruled out of Sunday’s final of the men’s 4x400m at the World Athletics Championships due to a hamstring injury, OBSERVER ONLINE has been reliably informed.
He was initially down to compete on the Jamaica team in the preliminaries on Saturday but was substituted by De’Andre Anderson as the team ran 2:59.82 to win one of two heats to advance.

Bailey, who won the national title in July, placed fifth in the men’s 400m final on Thursday in 44.96 seconds.
The final of the men’s 4x400m is scheduled for 2:37 pm Jamaica time.
