Suspect in Danielle Rowe’s murder identified as father’s former intimate partner
KINGSTON, Jamaica— The female suspect who was nabbed in connection to the abduction and murder of eight-year-old Danielle Rowe has been identified as a former intimate partner of the girl’s father.

She is a 30-year-old dental assistant of Padmore district in Red Hills, St Andrew and Twickenham Park in St Catherine.
In an announcement on Friday Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of crime and security Fitz Bailey said the suspect was positively identified on an Identification Parade, following her capture two weeks ago on Friday, August 11.
He added that a clear motive for the eight-year-old’s death has not yet been established.
The suspect, DCP Bailey said, will be interviewed and formally charged.
On June 8 Danielle was abducted after leaving Braeton Primary School in Portmore, St Catherine. She was later found on Roosevelt Avenue in St Andrew with her throat slashed. She died at Bustamante Hospital for Children two days after the ordeal.
