#WorldChamps2023: Fourth for Roshawn Clarke in 400m hurdles final
In his first global 400m hurdles final, Jamaican national record holder Roshawn Clarke finished fourth at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old Clarke, who clocked a new World Under-20 record of 47.34 seconds, registered a time of 48.07 for fourth.
World record holder Karsten Warholm of Norway regained his title after blazing to 46.89 for gold. Kyron McMaster finished second to claim the British Virgin Island’s first World Championships medal in a time of 47.34.
Meanwhile, America’s Rai Benjamin had to settle for bronze in a time of 47.56 seconds.
