#WorldChamps2023: Romaine Beckford misses out on high jump final
National high jump champion Romaine Beckford did not qualify for the final of the event at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Beckford, who is this year’s NCAA double champion, bowed out of the event with a mark of 2.22m.
He has a personal best of 2.27m, set at the Mike A Myers Stadium in June.
The final of the men’s high jump is scheduled for Tuesday at 12:55 pm Jamaica time.
