Honda Fit driver dies in freak accident
The driver of a Honda Fit motor car was killed Friday afternoon in a freak accident involving a trailer outside the Grace Distribution Centre in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
“The accident took place at approximately 2:15 pm and involved a trailer with a 20-foot container and a private motor vehicle. No one else was injured in the incident,” Grace said in a statement.
“The Jamaica Constabulary Force and Jamaica Fire Brigade were quick to the scene to carry out recovery operations. Our GraceKennedy team on the ground and other relevant GraceKennedy personnel who have been deployed are assisting the authorities in their investigations. We are deeply saddened by this loss of life and extend our sincere condolence to the family, friends, other loved ones, and our team members who have been affected,” the statement said.
