Police High Command expresses condolence to family of slain cop
KINGSTON, Jamaica— The Police High Command has expressed condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Constable Justin Martin, who was shot and killed by unknown assailants at a bar in Clarendon on Saturday.
Martin, 32, was assigned to St Catherine North Division (Enhanced Security Measures).
He was reportedly among other patrons at a bar about 12:10 am, when armed men accosted them.
A struggle ensued, during which Constable Martin was shot multiple times.
He was assisted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The police disclosed that the Force’s Chaplaincy Branch and Welfare Department are providing support to the family members, friends and colleagues of Constable Martin.
