Scotia x AMEX Platinum dining
#AMEXForFoodies
Over the last several years, American Express has revamped its flagship personal card, The Platinum Card, from a metal credit card that focused solely on luxury travel to a wallet’s best lifestyle and luxury travel partner. One way in which Amex made the great pivot was with amped-up wellness, travel, entertainment, and dining rewards.
And the latter was on full display on Sunday as Scotiabank, backed by American Express, launched the Platinum Card in metal for its customers in Jamaica. The platinum event was held at the Caymanas Polo Club on Sunday, July 30. Four local chefs — Garfield Seivright, Oji Jaja, Charissa Henry-Skyers, and Saleema Barclay — collaborated to present a four-course menu worth the guests’ ‘platinum’ status. The meals were paired with a suite of wines from Select Brands.
